HVAC BIM Services

We can model the Mechanical (HVAC) Ducting/ Piping BIM services based on the input CAD, PDF and from the Design IFC files as per specifications and standards required. The HVAC BIM Services are coordinated with the Architecture and Structure models to eliminate interference. The interference rectification will be done in coordination with the client and considering the design requirements.

We provide the following Mechanical BIM Services

(i) Mechanical (Ducting & Piping) 3D BIM Model

(ii) Detailed Shop/ Installation drawings

(iii) Detailed Mechanical Piping Shop/ Installation drawings

(iv) BOQ of Ducts, Duct fittings, Grills, Diffusers, Mechanical Equipment etc.

(v) BOQ of Pipe, Pipe Fittings, Pipe Accessories etc.

(vi) Block-Out Drawings

(vii) Equipment Pad Layout Drawings

(viii) Walk-through of Mechanical BIM Models

(ix) Mechanical Equipment Modeling as per Submittal or Cut-sheet provided

(x)  Mechanical family creation as per the requirement of the project

HVAC BIM Services

NOTE: We assume that the design professionals have provided adequate space for above ceiling trades. Excessive rerouting and re-design due to inadequate space are not part of standard services. As a rule-of-thumb, once we are provided with the structural model we can usually verify excessive issues and give notice as to the severity of the problem.

Shop / Installation Drawings

We provide Installation/ Shop drawings for General Contractors & Duct Fabricators. We extract the shop drawings from the HVAC BIM Model and providing adequate details required to fabricate the product for duct fabricators and also can be used by contractors for on-site installation.

Block-Out (Builders Works) Drawings

We provide Block Out drawings with detailed dimensions and elevations. Block out drawings are provided after aligning the ducts and equipment,s with the architectural grids.

Equipment Pad Layout Drawings

We provide the Equipment Pad Layout drawings with reference to the Architectural Grid. The Equipment Pad layout drawings are essential to position the Equipment in the accurate location providing adequate clearance for maintenance and other services.

Quantity Take-off

With BIM Models we have the benefit of extracting accurate quantity information. The quantity schedules are generated by the software itself, so if any changes are made in the model, it automatically gets updated.

Mechanical Room Modeling

We provide detailed BIM models for Mechanical rooms which helps you get more clarity for your site installations. We model Duct/ Pipes, Mechanical Equipment, Valves & other Pipe accessories, Equipment Pad etc. Also we provide the clearance area (If details are provided) for accurate positioning and to provide easy maintenance services.
